Andrex was proud to contribute to the construction of the new classroom building and parking structure at the Colorado School of Mines on a project led by GH Phipps Construction Companies. Our team installed intumescent fireproofing on interior structural steel within the classroom facility, where aesthetics were an important consideration as the steel remained exposed as part of the building’s architectural design. We also applied spray-applied fireproofing throughout the parking garage structure, helping the project meet required fire-resistance ratings while supporting the overall safety and durability of the development.
